Who am I in Christ?

So, who am  I in Christ you ask...
Well , we are ALL accepted by Christ Jesus. God accepts and loves each and every one of us. Even with all of our faults, insecurities, imperfections, with everything. Thats why he is God.

We are disciples in Jesus Christ, so that makes us his friend. As it is said in John 15:15, "I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his masters buisness. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything I learned from my father I have made known to you."
I am so thankful that I am a friend of Jesus because you can not ask for a better friend. He is the perfect bestfriend because he will never leave you nor forsake (give up, or  abandon) you. He will ALWAYS be there no matter what WE do wrong towards him.

We belong to God because we were bought with a price. As it is written in 1Corinthians 6:19-20 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have recieved from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
We were ALL "bought" with the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. He took mine, and your place when he died on the cross for all of OUR sins. He was innocent, but he was placed on this earth by God, his father for that one purpose; and our bodies are our temples therfore, we as belivers in Christ can not do whatever we wish with our bodies. For example, as Paul has said about our bodies not being designed for sexual immorality, but for the Lord!

We have been CHOSEN by God and adopted by God to be his child. Ephesians 1:3-8 "Praise be to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the Heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be Holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the one he loves. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he lavished upon us with all wisdom and understanding."
I am beyond grateful and proud to be a child of god. And how blessed are we to have been CHOSEN by God. We have been chosen to do HIS will and to serve his purpose... ALL are called but the CHOSEN are few.

We have been redeemed and are forgiven of ALL of our sins. In Colossions 1:13-14 "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."
We are forgiven of our sins because of Jesus dying on the cross. God sent his only Son to die for us and for those who belive in him will not perish but have Everlasting life!

I thank Jesus each and everyday for taking my place on that cross. That because of him I no longer will have to suffer for eternity but I will be able to be in the presence of the Lord... I thank you Lord and I love you!
